Project Overview

In 2021 BKD architects secured planning permission for a major renovation of the Conrad Hotel on Dublin's Earlsfort Terrace.  Our proposal accommodated a new bedroom wing and additional floors and increasing the bedroom provision by 88no. rooms.  The refurbishment also includes a new multi-use event space, a new roof top bar and restaurant, enhanced wellness facilities, as well as a new façade treatment to the Earlsfort Terrace elevations.

The project proposes to retain and reuse much of the existing hotel structures in order to substantially reduce the embodied carbon footprint of the development.
