Hilton Garden Inn
Project Overview
Hilton Garden Inn, Dublin Custom House Quay was originally designed by BKD as a 239 bedroom hotel with 4 star facilities, and was constructed in 1996 continuing the successful Jurys Inn formula. Situated in a prominent location on the Liffey Quays at the hub of the International Financial Services Centre and Dublin’s vibrant docklands area, the building features a rich palate of materials, including natural stone, reconstituted stone panels, brickwork, and aluminium curtain walling and cladding reflecting the mix of materials previously used in the IFSC and with the listed CHQ building. The interiors feature a large well appointed foyer, pub, restaurant, shop and attractive penthouse suites which command views of Dublin City and hills. In 2017 a shallow extension was added to the west elevation and two additional floors were added to the hotel, bringing the total bedroom count to 324. Hilton Garden Inn CHQ has operated at maximum occupancy levels since opening and has contributed significantly to the regeneration of Dublin Docks.
