The Mespil Hotel

Project Overview

Situated in the heart of Dublin’s historic Georgian Quarter, the project involved the refurbishment and enhancement of an existing six-storey office building dating from the 1970s. The redevelopment delivered approximately 1,000m² of additional office space.

The plans included both internal and external upgrades, featuring a redesigned façade across all elevations and the installation of a new main entrance at ground level. A secondary means of escape was also introduced at the south-eastern corner of the building, facing Burlington Road.

Additional improvements involved the reconfiguration of the basement to incorporate staff amenities, bicycle parking, and car parking. The project also included updates to various floor plates, plant areas, and adjustments to vehicular access, ensuring the building meets modern standards for efficiency, safety, and usability.
