DIT Aungier Street
Project Overview
The Dublin Institute of Technology, Aungier Street, can accommodate upwards of 3,000 full-time students. A new entrance off Bishop Street provides access to a social/ interactive concourse, connecting with the existing Aungier Street entrance hall and adjoining a new restaurant overlooking a landscaped courtyard. The two storey library is identified on the courtyard elevation by a planar glass wall, which slopes outwards providing light and views; while lecture theatres, stacked in twos on the upper levels, form expressed sculptural elements.
