Project Overview

Burke-Kennedy Doyle were engaged to develop a Master plan for the Bon Secours Hospital site in Glasnevin. The Master Plan was generated around the protection and enhancement of the existing landscaped areas of the site and the creation of new landscaped spaces bounded by buildings.

The Masterplan led to the commission for an extension to the existing hospital which in turn required careful coordination and management to allow the existing hospital services to be maintained during construction. The  accommodation includes a Diagnostic Hub incorporating advanced Pulmonary, Phlebotomy, Urodynamics, Ophthalmology and Cardiology departments, along with Radiology, Endoscopy and an MRI facility. There are additional bed spaces in 2 additional wards along with laboratories, medical work spaces, and a chapel.
