Mill Theatre

The Mill Theatre at the heart of the new Dundrum Town Centre, by the restored Mill House and Millpond, is part of the developer’s contribution to the local area.  Above the theatre are restaurants and cafes, which overlook the Millpond.  The south-facing glazed elevation of the restaurants creates a sun trap for outdoor dining. The richly coloured and finished theatre foyer and gallery has as its centrepiece   a specially commissioned cascading light feature by lighting designer Leo Scarff.  The building finishes include low-energy glass, western red cedar, gold-coloured granite, zinc and render feature areas and aluminium profile roofing.
