IONA Technologies are one of Irelands leading international computer software companies. Their brief called for a cheerful and relaxed working environment initially to accommodate 500 I.T. workstations with training suites, meeting and boardroom, international communications centre and a generous dining and leisure facility. IONA played an active role in the development of the interior treatment which is characterised by strong colour to workstations and curved meeting spaces set against a neutral white and beech backround. The restaurant takes advantage of the additional height afforded by the pitched roof space and again exploits timber and metal finishes contrasting with coloured surfaces in Linoleum, Plaster and Mosaic Tile.
