Adelaide Road/Hatch Street

Designed as two distinct but related buildings, Montague House on Adelaide Road and Hardwicke House on Hatch Street Upper provide a combined floor space of over 8,000 m2 over six storeys. Responding to their architectural environment, the buildings have been carefully designed to integrate into the local streetscape in a sympathetic manner. The Hatch Street elevation is narrow in proportion to the overall size of the building while the Adelaide Road elevation reflects the local parapet, porch and spandrel conditions of the surrounding buildings.
